Jeff is a self taught photographer and has always had an appreciation for the great outdoors. His unique style of photography is a product of years of trial and success. His determination, patience, and desire have been instrumental in achieving a distinctive style of photography.

He lives in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife Pam. Where he has continued to developed an artistic style of outdoor photography.  "As I've studied different artists work, such as Fred Machetanz  and C.M. Russell just to name a few as to how they apply color and portray light on the canvas I have to admit I've been deeply influenced by these Great painters of the past.

My aim is not merely to document a moment in time on film, but it's to interpret how I see the world through my eyes.  This unique blend of light, color and shapes is how I communicate this style that's developed over my lifetime. It's very rewarding, allowing the creative process to unfold. For me it is more about following an inner guidance rather than the rules of photography. My goal is to create art and I get a charge out of breaking away from conventional techniques and formulas. It's the challenge of each individual photographer to purse their own God given 'unique style', that is what elevates photography into art".
